The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the risk of violence against children, and child protection services have been partially weakened by measures to combat the spread of the virus.Anxiety in adults over exposure to COVID-19 can affect children's sensitivity and ability to respond to anxiety. Children are strongly associated with the emotional state of adults; Children perceive incomprehensible and unpredictable behavior as a threat, which is even more worrying.
