THE DOCTOR’S SPEECH AS A WAY OF EXPRESSING EMPATHY

Abstract

The article talks about the relationship between the doctor and the patient. The author believes that the effectiveness in the relationship between the doctor and the patient depends on the so-called word “empathy”, that is, on the doctor’s ability to understand the patient’s personal characteristics. Empathy plays a huge role in establishing trusting relationships in doctorpatient communication, which often lead to positive results.
