CAESAREAN SECTION. THE COURSE OF THE POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD
Abstract
Every year, the number of deliveries by caesarean section tends to increase. There are many risks in such an operation, and the decision to perform a caesarean section is made according to certain criteria, including if delivery through the natural birth canal threatens the life of the mother or fetus. For this purpose, there are certain indications, the list of which is clearly specified and limited. There are indications from the mother and from the child. In turn, they are divided into indications before and during childbirth. The article presents statistical data on the state of health of women in labor after cesarean section, to analyze the correctness of the chosen method.
