Международный опыт организации медико-социальной помощи пожилым людям

   Одной из основных проблем в области демографии является процесс старения населения. В Казахстане данный вопрос пока является новым и требует отражения в государственных документах и правовых актах. Процесс старения можно профилактировать и замедлить естественным путем. С этой целью нужно уделить особое внимание технологии
гериатрической помощи в Республике Казахстан, странах СНГ и выделению отдельного врача-геронтолога для лиц пожилого возраста. Во многих странах СНГ вопрос старения населения требует внимания, в то время как в других «молодых» странах время помогает осознать данную проблему своевременно. Решение вопроса старения населения было предложено ООН и рядом других международных организаций. В связи с этим многие страны предпринимают действия, направленные на внедрение или улучшение системы долговременной помощи.
