In 2005 he was awarded the academic title of assistant professor in the specialty of medicine. In 2006, for solving a major problem, N.T. Jainakbayev was awarded the title of Professor. He is the Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of Clinical and Fundamental Medicine of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Nurlan T. Jainakbayev is the author of teaching aids, 100 scientific papers, 7 monographs, 1 International Kazakh-Russian textbook on «Disaster Medicine». He has 5 inventions, the author of patents, including Eurasian ones.

In 2015 Nurlan T. Jainakbayev received a diploma of the International Competition «Scientist of the Year» of the Oxford Academic Union in the category of social sciences, section «Mobile Medicine».
